our LAB
STUDIO NAGARAJAN is always engaged with scientists, psychologists, philosophers and pioneers in various fields to facilitate an active exploration of the 'fiction' aspect of 'sci-fi', to test the boundaries of the materialization of ideas that we present through fantasies. We have worked in unison with Klee Irwin's team from QGR, California, USA for E8; The Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics, Waterloo, Canada for Mimic; and Novascopes, California, USA for E8's visual effects; among several other scientific/engineering bodies across North America and the globe.
We are currently working with the School of Applied Technology, Humber College, Canada for Ishin Denshin and some future projects. Our pursuits either require the invention of new technology that assists our productions or through exploration, our discoveries benefits humanity at large. It was fun developing a projection mapping technique for The Tree of Life in Mimic, a rendering of a Hyper-Complex Fractal for All The World's A Stage and cutting edge practical ~ purely optical visual effects for The Dyson Swarm in E8 using motion capture of light in motion through a 3D kaleidoscope built with mirrors that rival the kind used on The Hubble Telescope.
We strongly believe that without dreamers, there are no thinkers and without thinkers, dreams will forever remain lost in ambiguity. Stay tuned for new developments!
